Rumble, browser and GBA loader for the R4

How to play GBA games

Once the GBA Loader has been installed correctly, as explained in the previous section in this link proceed to explain how modes are used PSRAM and NOR GBA games to play. Given that prior to entering these ways we have loaded into the micro SD memory GBA games that wish to use (files with a .gba).

In the PSRAM mode we can choose to display the higher GBA game you want, and it will be copied to the memory of EZ Flash. This process of copying is fast and only a few seconds delay. By shutting down the game console not remain in the cartridge doing that we should charge the rom every time you want to play. We must bear in mind that it has no ability to play larger than 16MB and is not compatible with games .sav is Kb/128KB Flash 1024. The buttons in the mode PSRAM are:

  • (A) Serves to move the files in the micro SD, load the selected game on the screen above the console and run it.
  • (B) Serves to make a backup of 1 particular heading.
  • (X) Serves to make a full backup of PSRAM.
  • (Y) Serves to restore PSRAM.
  • (Select) Serves to load the game in the PSRAM and automatically makes a soft-reset.
  • (Start) Serves to make a soft-reset.

In the NOR mode the game that is selected on the screen above the console is etched in the memory NOR cartridge. The process of copying takes longer than with PSRAM, which varies depending on the size of the game. By turning off the console rom still stored in the EZ Flash so to turn it on when we can access the GBA game without having to load the GBA Loader. Unlike the mode PSRAM, NOR it have not any limitation in terms of size of the game or file type .sav. The buttons mode NOR are:

  • (A) Serves to navigate through the micro SD, erase the memory NOR and burn the selected game.
  • (B) Serves to make a backup of the game.
  • (X) Serves to implement the rom that is installed in memory NOR.
  • (Y) Serves to restore .sav.
  • (Start) Serves to make soft-reset.
