See videos in your Nintendo DS

How to see the video format DPG

R4 Revolution played only videos in format. DPG so that our videos before moving to the micro SD memory cartridge R4, we must convert with the following agenda:

Download DPGTools version 1.1.

DPGTools is a program that is very easy to use and is one of the few programs that work well, which is the most important thing. In DPGTools we can convert all of our videos are in .mpg, .avi, .wmv and .flv to the format .dpg. The steps to follow to perform this conversion are as follows:

  • The first thing we do is extract the files contained in it. DPGTools of zip that can be downloaded above (do not require any installation).
  • Then we run the dpgenc.exe.
  • There choose from the menu bar button Language (L) to choose language for ENG for English or SPA for Spanish (currently not working version in Spanish).
  • If you select options, we may change the characteristics of conversion (only in the English version), but which became the default, and which are a standard conversion, so I recommend that if we do not understand the issue may leave which come.
  • Now that the program is set up what should be done is to drag the file to be converted into the window of dpgenc.exe (where it says the following message: "Please drag and drop files movie").
  • Once we have done this automatically (may take a few seconds), will begin the conversion process, creating a file in the folder that prompted the program (default save. DGP on the desktop or can be change by pressing the button "Change" prior to the conversion of video).

Note: The process usually lasts the same as the length of the video to convert. It should be borne in mind that this may vary depending on the characteristics of our computer and may take more or less time than this.

To view video on the console, copy the video turned extension .dpg and paste it into the micro SD memory. Then access to the "Multimedia" and press the button (A) on the video we want to see.
